20th December Comorordes

We are having a chill out day today and staying here another night, very lazy all round, I try brushing up on my Spanish and Martin had a walk along the shore, we both check our kit and do a bit of repacking, how much did we bring with us. Heading South tomorrow with a couple of big mileage days ahead.

  1. hi
Glad you are ok. We had George round yesterday - he and Callum chilled in front of the TV for the afternoon. Its so nice having George round - he eats so much! ...and him and Callum got on well, they were laughing and joking!
Jo, Maggie and I went out to M&S at 10pm one evening this week to buy all the Christmassy stuff. We keep thanking you for Jo's snow tires. Your road is thawing out now.
I have now stopped work and have actually been reading a paper this morning - have not had time to do that for ages.
How do i know if you are getting these comments?

  2. Hi guys
Glad you're making such good progress - how fortuitous was it my having picked up an alternator belt with the ignition modules? Way to go!
Very strange about the key shredding the original belt - just goes to show that you really cannot predict what can happen, even in your wildest thoughts!
    Stay Safe,

  3. BTW - we don't seem to be seeing any photos now, unlike earlier posts, is there a problem with uploading or does it just take too much time?
Would love to see some more video footage, especially of Martin's slides :o)

  4. BTW2 - Just love the 'spot live' facility, although the tracking across roads is a bit 'as the crow flies' it is still great to see the satellite pix of where you are.

  5. Not seeing previous days tracks in 'spot live' so went looking dor the penguins on Google Maps - eventually found this through educated guesswork:

Can't see the bikes though :o)))

  6. Hi Dave and Martin I am really enjoying following your trip. Feel like I am there with you. I love penguins - they are such jolly little chaps.
We have still got snow here. It is Christmas eve - all very cosy. We are missing you. XX
